Punya, who founded OSHOinUK together with Veena 7 years ago, has moved out of this site, and we, the Croydon Hall Osho Celebrations team, have moved in – it’s a bit like moving into a flat where a friend used to live! So OSHOinUK is now the home of the Croydon Hall Celebrations. (And maybe other things, later on.)
The celebrations have a place in the heart of many people, and happily it has become very clear that they will continue. Originally created for the rest of us by the team at Croydon Hall, they’ve taken on an independent life of their own and have continued beautifully now that Croydon Hall is in new hands. At the last Festival we set up a team to help run them for the future. So far, that team is me (Amitabh), Islam and Nirjuna. If you’d like to contribute in any way before or during the Festivals, you are very welcome. On a practical note, we’re pleased that Peter, the new owner of Croydon Hall, has confirmed that he’s happy to give a home to our Festivals as long as we want to run them there.
This website is the team’s first step to making these festivals bigger and better than ever. We’ll be adding much more material to it as we go along.
We’re very grateful to Punya for help in setting up and hosting this website for us. Punya has created a great new Osho News web magazine, www.oshonews.com, and you can find the list of places to meditate in the UK there, along with a lot of other interesting content.
There is a meditation/spa weekend with Surahbhi and Tarisha on Fri 21-23 October, and then our next Festival is 15-18 Dec 2011. See you there!
